Very good initiative, the future of our beloved country is in the hands of our generation, not in the hands of our rulers, thay've looted our country. if we going to succed and be on the good part of history, we have to stand up againt injustice, corruption, lack of accountability and lack of transparency. A government supposed to be accountable to its people, and yet transparent, but ours had failed us, enslaved us and ripped us of our rights. |

Fellow Nigerians,
There is no gainsaying the fact that our people at home and in the Diaspora earnestly seek for TRUE CHANGE in our motherland, A Change that will reflect positively on the well being of all her citizens…… an urgent Change from the old political fables repeatedly told by our two-faced Politicians who say one thing during the campaign and do another thing once in office. A drastic Change that will eliminate the canker of corruption that has eaten deep into all levels of our Government, communities, families and individual lives, and has turned us to a laughing stock and a nation of no tomorrow.
The time has come for us to have a moment of deep and honest sober reflection, to say unrepentant NO to our individual and collective ills that stunted our growth over the years and turned the once giant of Africa into a limping elephant. The time has come for us, East, West, North, and South to discontinue our contending against one another, from being willing tools and victims to manipulative and self-seeking political class, and other anti-democratic forces...., but must be joined together, must be restored to a unified mind, propelled by unselfish thoughts and actions, strive for mutual goodwill in the midst of our ethnic and religious differences.
Now is the time for us to rise to majestic height of patriotism and dynamic leadership through a civilised electoral system. The campaign for that honest and undying spirit of brotherhood in one United Nigeria is now or never. It is never too late to try.
Tell your neighbours today, voice it loud to every Nigerian you know, trumpet it from the roof tops, person to person, friend to friend, community to community, state to state, tell all about this ultimate Change that will enthrone an action loaded Government OF the People of Nigeria BY the people of Nigeria and FOR the people of Nigeria. The Hope of a re-born Nigeria we all longed for is now alive and kicking.
The Wind of Change is blowing ferociously in Nigeria and you must to be part of it. This massive movement is propelled by patriotic NIGERIANS for ALL NIGERIANS, and you cannot afford to sit on the fence. We all must remain doggedly determined in this campaign and struggle for a New Nigeria. The drive to re-born our motherland must be a collective responsibility. If you wish to become Agent of Change in Nigeria, join The New Nigerian Alliance, (NNA) http://www.newnigerianalliance.org
The current initiative of NNA , the "We Want to Vote" online petition to the Federal Government http://www.newnigerianalliance.com/3/miscellaneous3.htm , was published on THISDAY newspaper of Monday January 12th, 2009. and also on the reliable-online-news-source-of-Nigeria, Odili dot net. Click on the links below to read the online version
You see, the campaign for Change in our Motherland is real and unstopable, hence, the need for massive and persistent, but non-violent actions to liberate Nigeria from the deadly claws of corruption, abject poverty and shameful degradation caused by decades of mis-rule and unpatriotic leadership. The goal is reachable, the possibilities are limitless, and together we will make it happen.
Here is a simple test of your PATRIOTISM, forward this message, or copy and forward the web links to every Nigerian you know and encourage them to pass it along to others.
Don`t forget, Nigeria na our country and we must do better for am
God bless us all.
God bless Nigeria.
Obinwanne Onwuchuruba.

Our Country Nigeria has very great potentials of becoming an economic force to be reckon with on the world stage. But our problems are too varied and deep rooted, ranging from fraud, bribery, corruption, nepotism, favouritism etc to political thugery, oppression, slackness, social ineptitude, disrespect and lawlessnes to mention but a few. If we come together and slowly begin to impact, affect and refine the leadership of our country at all levels, then we have taken the needed first step towards the actualization of our National dreams and aspiration. I am glad that that a worthy initative such as this is now in place and i pray that we would all do all the we can to support our ailing Country which needs us. Well done guys!!! |

I spent time on this site to soak in the zeal and passion of the patriots that still believe in "project Nigeria". Months ago, I thought a convocation of a national assembly of everyone named "MOSES" in Nigeria might be needed in order to evolve a Deliverer that will set Nigerians free from bondage into the promised land. By the way, I believe names are prophetic of purpose & destiny. Now I wonder if this forum will evolve that leader and usher in a wind of change we need. Thankfully a nation can be born in a day. I see God birthing a new Nigeria. Glory!! |

| It is heart warming to know that something like this is being organizad by Nigerians. What the forum requires is the will to continue inspite of the hardship and tests that will, most assuredly, block its path. Another thing is that the organizers should make concious effort to reach out, through other means, every corner of the country in other to bring together people of like minds. This is one of the best that could happen to the country. I appreciate the efforts of the founding fathers and their interest in trying to correct the wrongs that are glaringly obvious in both our leaders and the citizenry, the rot that has eaten very deep into not only the flesh but has penetrated even beyond the hard surface of the bone. May your efforts and personal commitments be handsomely rewarded with success towards achieving the desired and necessary positive change. This is a legacy worth striving for. I will, Allah willing, study your manifesto and decide on becoming a member. A very warm regards to all those who see the problems of Nigeria and are doing everything to bring change that is positive. | |||

I really appreciate your effort towards fixing our failed nation. It is indeed heartwarming to see that we still have some youths who are passionate about Nigeria and nt just getting themselves involved in frivolities. However, i think the first step to take is to determine the feasibility or otherwise of Nigeria as a union. It is not all marriages that can work. We need to first consider whether we can ever thrive as a people together before talking further if need be. I believe that the most important consideration should be to enhance the quality of livelihoods of the greatest number of people and not to enforce a union even if all indicators point to its unfeasibility.Thank you. |

| Well done guys, well done! I agree with the comments that such initiatives has failed before, but we won't stop trying just because it hasn't worked for 40 years. We have to keep trying. Our destiny and that of our children is rooted in what we do today. Movements that have shaped nations started like this, in small ways. Change begins with me and then us. As it is often said, 'anyone who is to afraid to stand up for something will fall for anything'. Let's allow the Wind to blow. Well done. I am convinced about what you want to do but I can't exactly see how you want to achieve this. In any case I believe in this cause and I am in for it. I believe it will snowball to something that we all will be proud to tell our children. Cheers. | |||

The 'CHANGE' so passionately desired in and for Nigeria is a long call. Where will the change begin? How come we only speak of "change" at the topmost echelons of government when the rot in value system runs in the vein of every Nigerian adult and child? With the benefit of age on my side, I consider the Nigerian "change" project a forlorn agenda. The so-called "change" will continue to be an elusive ideal because even within the ranks of those preaching the change, opportunism, self-glorification and the allure of power remain buried in the psyche. I commend the progenitors of this initiative notwithstanding my rooted pessimism and skepticism. After all, they are saying what I have heard for some 40 years in a new way aided by the internet. All the best! |

CHANGE is the primary objective of this wake up call to all true Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora. I commend the rare patriotism of the initiators, and pray the Almighty God to grant all our fellow Patriots the wisdom to help build a true Nigeria for Nigerians. It is not about our different Religions, nor ethnic groups, it is all about the tiny cabals holding the rest of us hostage in our own dear native land. If we all stand together in unity against the cabals, the possibilities will be limitless. Let us embrace the Wind of Change now. God bless us all. |
